The Emirates Golf Club of Dubai was named among “One Of The Worlds Top Golf Courses” by Golf Digest magazine.
The Majilis- Emirates Golf Club opened in 1988 and was known in Dubai as the Desert Miracle. The first part of the golf club that was developed is known as the famous Majilis Emirates Golf Club. Majilis in Arabic means “the meeting place.” The Majilis is an 18 hole course with six beautiful lakes, 7101 yards and a par of 72. This course has lush long greens and is a favorite of world top players, appearing to be a favorite meeting place in Dubai. Positioned between the 8th and the 9th hole is the remarkable Majilis clubhouse structure, which is a famous landmark in Dubai. The 18th hole is the Emirates Golf Club signature hole. This course was the first Championship Golf Course and holds the annual PGA Dubai Desert Classic.
The Wadi-The newer area of the Emirates Golf Club, which was opened in 1996, is recognized internationally with the 7 landmark Bedouin Tents. The outstanding cement and glass tents are located at the new 9hole course with a par of 72, 67 bunkers, and 7100 yards. This course is known to be challenging but fair, or for the more experienced weekend golfer. The 17th hole offers all golfers a challenging experience due to the large rock areas, thick rough, pot bunkers, and the water filled wadis’. The 18th hole is the signature hole of this golf course. Wadis definition is a valley, which has given this course its name- The Wadi of Emirates Golf Club.
There are also meeting rooms, conference rooms, and the Emirates Gold Club that can hold a banquet of 1000 people.

Gymnasium- for your individual body needs there are personal fitness trainers, fitness assessment programs, and state of the art equipment for all fitness levels.
Tennis- There is 4 hard courts, 2 polyurethane courts. Tennis professional conducts individual and group training.
Squash- There is 2 fine stadium style glass courts. Two squash professionals conduct personal and group training.
Soccer- Fun soccer participation, while learning knowledgeable soccer skills are available for children ages 5-14 taught by English Soccer School of Excellence, conducted by F.A. coaches.
Swimming Pool-Take relief from the hot sun in a sparkling temperature-controlled pool. Next to it is an indoor air-conditioned childrens play area. Teaching safe swimming classes are available from ages of 6 months to adults.
Also at the Golf Club there are two volleyball courts, and two basketball courts.
Yoga, and Holistic Therapy is provided for Emirates club members. The Holistic Therapy includes Reflexology, LaStone Therapy, Reka Stone Massage, Balinese Therapy, Sweedish Massages, and Reiki Therapy.

The Dubai Creek and Yaught Golf Club opened in 1993 and displays another famous landmark in Dubai. The landmark is the outstanding golf clubhouse ranging to 45 meters high, shaped as stylish boat sails. The clubhouse was voted “Best Clubhouse” of Golf Worlds’ “Best of the Best” Award. The clubhouse includes conference rooms, restaurants, and bars.
The golfing is superb especially with the shoreline scenery. It has 18 holes, with a par of 72 and 6950 yards. There is also a new area, which is floodlit for fantastic night golfing having 9 holes, with a par of 3. With the large rolling greens there are also 6 lakes with the water being around 13 of the 18 holes including 52 bunkers making this a golfers challenge. Accompanying this golf challenge is the gorgeous landscaping with beautiful tropical foliage. A golf academy is also provided; including are PGA instructors to help with golfing of all levels and ages.
Some of the recreation includes the Creeks Health club; it provides personal training, and nutrition. Also the Creek offers a luxurious swimming pool. Located at the Dubai Creek and Yaught Club is an area of 40 meters for all of the yaughts.

The Nad al Sheba of Dubai is a championship golf course with 18 holes, and par of 71 with 6428 yards, with the 18th hole as the signature hole. This is the only golf course in Dubai that has all 18 holes provided with nighttime floodlights. This makes night golfing, a golfers dream. This golf course is built in and around the Nad al Sheba racetrack that is world known to the Dubai World Cup. This course has eight lakes, and is a challenge for the golfers accuracy, rather than length. This can be a windy course due to it having a very small amount of trees. Though there are very few trees, it has beautiful lush greens.
A favorite of the Dubai Nad al Sheba is the Links Restaurant. It provides 110 seats for the international grill and steak house, and overlooks the course. The other favorite spot to relax in is the Spikes Lounge Bar, which is 3 tiered with a curved bar as the signature statement. The Nad al Sheba Club also provides tours from September to June of its world famous stables, and will give a behind the scenes look such as the care for the horses and as to what occurs before, during, and after the horse races. The Montgomerie Dubai Golf Course opened in 2003 and is home to one of the worlds largest greens. This championship course has 7308yards, and a par of 72, 70 bunkers, and 14 lakes! The signature hole at #13 is a narrow green island with water on 3 sides, and can literally be played at 360 degrees, holding it as the largest single green in the world at 58,000 sq ft. This single green is 200yards from end to end, the equivalent to nine greens! The Montgomerie Golf Course of Dubai is a fabulous Scottish link style course designed by the famous pro Colin Montgomerie, and course architect Desmond Muirhead. This link course will fascinate all levels of players, and bring to Dubai an additional great place of golfing.
The Montgomerie Golf Course of Dubai also has the worlds leading training facility, known as The Academy by Troon Golf. Jebel Ali Golf resort and spa of Dubai is a resort course consisting of 9 holes, par 36, 3201 yards. Out of the 9 holes, a lake will come into play for 5. The course is delicately beautiful with exotic foliage, and has beautifully structured gazebos. Set deep in the heart of the Dubai desert, this “pay as you play” golf course opened in February 2004, and is one of Dubais’ newest golf courses in a desert Arabian theme with natural characteristic of rolling sand dunes. Australian Ian Baker-Finch in association with Nicklaus Design designed this golf course.
The Desert Course of Dubai has 7698 yards, 18 holes, and 72 par. There are no water hazards, but a massive twisted bunker and the challenge of the desert itself. Golfers for this course should be more advanced than the average golfer. There are also floodlit practice facility areas available which are open until 9pm. To help improve each individual’s game, there is an advanced GPS system in your golf cart, which measures the distance from the golf cart to the center of the green
To add to the desert elegance is the Spanish style clubhouse it has an excellent restaurant known as The Ranches Restaurant and Bar with a terrace overlooking the 9th & 18th hole. The Restaurant has an international menu, and provides a wonderful place for Friday brunches.

Robert Trent Jones II designed the Al Badia Golf Resort in Dubai. This very new course opened in February 2005, is 7250 yards, 18 holes and a par 72. The Al Badia Golf Resort is an exciting addition to the Dubai Festival City-a golf course within a residential community.
The Dubai Al Badia Golf Resort has 11 lakes, multiple streams, and has dazzling waterfalls. The 5th and the 18th hole are to be the most challenging, and according to designer Jones, may possibly be the most challenging holes to play in the entire world. Adding to the difficulty of playing, will be the wind, including nearly everywhere a player observes, they will see water. A created concept of adding “rivers of sand” has created a dramatic scene next to the rich paspalum grass. Another dramatic view is from across the course from the 11th hole creates a stunning view of the beautiful tropical apartments and town homes. Membership may be limited to only 100. There is also a limited pay and play for only 40 players being allowed per day to play on the Al Badia Golf Resort of Dubai.
The Al Badia Clubhouse overlooks the 9th and the 18th hole, including the stunning waterfalls. The new clubhouse is due to open in early 2006. The clubhouse will have a sweeping circular design with cool blue glass. The lower roofs wrap around the terrace providing a large area of shade and palm trees. This gives it the appearance of the Al Badia Theme. The clubhouse will feature a number of indoor and outdoor amenities. It will also include a number of restaurants, lounges, and a pro golf shop.
