Dubai Shopping Festival, what an experience to remember!! The Dubai Shopping Festival, otherwise known as DSF is a fantastic array of splendid color with a great deal of fabulous shopping, eating, and entertainment. The DSF first began in 1996 and is held every year from the middle of January to the middle of February (however dates slightly change from year to year). This shopping festival brings excellent bargains to all shoppers. The Festival attracts over 3 million visitors a year, and has placed Dubai on the map for the greatest place to shop in the world.
How do you get there? Just check your nearest travel agent, and they will be able to show you how the hotels of Dubai and airlines have helped to accommodate the shoppers by decreasing the room rates, and airline ticket prices during the Dubai Shopping Festival. Some hotels have been known to drop there rates during the festival by 40%! And you may just win a prize just for going to Dubai!
Daily, there are raffles and drawings given, and the drawings range from a free meal, to winning a kg of gold, or even to win a new car! For a surprise, you may just be walking around and a gift may randomly be given away to you.
At the Great Dubai Shopping Festival the prices may be cheaper than where any actual products are made. That is including top name brand products. The wide variety of less costly products being sold are literally from feathers to Ferraris. One of the favorite areas is a rug area, where people just can’t get enough. Other favorites are the electronics area, where you may buy your favorite TV., computers, and ipods, for outstanding prices.
The Dubai Shopping Festival is not just about shopping but also about the entertainment. Nightly performances are given of all varieties. Theater to a splendid water or laser show may be given. There are also street performances that display people and there culture from all over the world. Don’t forget the fantastic singing too, and some nights may have an incredible fireworks show!
